How do I find out if computer hardware is compatible with my computer?
Filed Under Desktops | 8 Comments
soccerman1990 asked:
I’m looking to buy a new hard drive, and I found one at a good price and with double the capacity I have now. My question is, I am not sure if its interface (SATA 3.0Gb/s) is compatible with my computer. How do I find that out. Do I actually have to open up my computer?
Or is there some sort of utility I can download that can analyze my computer?

Kyle asked:
I currently have windows vista home premium installed. I would like to upgrade my motherboard and processor but worry it may give me problems when vista detects hardware changes and could possibly not work (in terms of security, thinking its been installed on a new second computer). Will i have to reinstall vista and reformat my hard drive?? thank you for your time

Tommy H asked:
I am looking for a web-site where computer techs can go to view people that need computer service and reapirs, A while back a computer tech came to fix my computer and was telling me about how big computer companies, such as HP and Dell, posts people that need their computer fixed on a web-site where computer techs go to and choose the jobs they want to take. I was wondering if anybody knew of a site like this.

Why is it so hard to find people who know how to repair computers?

Randyr777 asked:
I have had computers for 11 years. And whenever something goes wrong, there are several places that repair computers here. But the problem is they are all employed by teenagers who don’t have a clue what they are doing.99 out of a 100 times if you take your computer to them they will keep it a few days, then tell you its fixed, charge you,and then it works worse than it did before.Take it to them again, then its the same thing over again.

Has anyone else experienced this?
